The convention was established in 2005 and is now ratified by 146 Parties, and aims to support sustainable cultural governance, exchange and integration across the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 2018 Report has significantly improved the evaluation and monitoring of cultural policies compared to those in 2015. Furthermore, the Report clearly demonstrates that innovative cultural policies at a local level can make positive impacts right up to national government level.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Report also examines how the 2005 Convention has stimulated policy change at the global and national level in ten areas of monitoring.
