{"id":13008,"date":"2016-10-19T00:00:28","date_gmt":"2016-10-18T22:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test-oldwebsite.igcat.org\/?p=13008"},"modified":"2017-01-24T11:42:17","modified_gmt":"2017-01-24T10:42:17","slug":"east-lombardy-2017-presented-to-tourism-professionals-and-specialised-press-at-ttg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test-oldwebsite.igcat.org\/fr\/east-lombardy-2017-presented-to-tourism-professionals-and-specialised-press-at-ttg\/","title":{"rendered":"East Lombardy 2017 presented to tourism professionals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>East\u00a0Lombardy &#8211; European Region of Gastronomy 2017 is a project featuring the\u00a0enhancement of quality local food and wine products and culinary traditions, with a view to integrating them in the tourism offer and to improving local sustainability.\u00a0East Lombardy 2017 was presented at TTG, an international B2B exhibition on tourism that gathers about 2.400 enterprises from more than 100 countries, totalling more than 35.000 visitors each year.<\/p>\n<p>Roberta Garibaldi, scientific director of the\u00a0East Lombardy \u2013 European Region of Gastronomy 2017, Barbara Manfredini, Cremona\u2019s council member for tourism and the economy,\u00a0Giacomo Galazzo, President of the association\u00a0Circuito Citt\u00e0 d\u2019Arte Pianura Padana, partner of the project, and Lucia Barzan\u00f2, President of the Franciacorta\u2019s Wine and Dine Route,\u00a0presented East Lombardy 2017 to tourism professionals and the specialised press in the\u00a0Sala Cedro \u2013 Hall Ovest. \u00a0\u00a0Furthermore, East Lombardy shared a co-marketing desk with the association\u00a0Circuito Citt\u00e0 d\u2019Arte Pianura Padana, at stand 007 within Pavilion 5.<\/p>\n<p>TTG, took place this year from\u00a013-15\u00a0October. It\u00a0represents one of the largest fairs in this field in Italy, and is thus one of the main places where supply and demand come together. During the fair, visitors have the opportunity to analyze international trends, to learn about new products in the market and to compare products.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0European Region of Gastronomy\u00a0Platform and Award aim to contribute to better quality of life in European regions, by highlighting distinctive food cultures, educating for better health and sustainability and stimulating gastronomic innovation.\u00a0IGCAT\u00a0(International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism) organises the award with the support of European institutions.
