{"id":23009,"date":"2021-04-19T10:05:17","date_gmt":"2021-04-19T08:05:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test-oldwebsite.igcat.org\/?p=23009"},"modified":"2021-04-20T11:49:53","modified_gmt":"2021-04-20T09:49:53","slug":"tourism-film-festival-sign-up-to-screen-igcats-food-film-menu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test-oldwebsite.igcat.org\/fr\/tourism-film-festival-sign-up-to-screen-igcats-food-film-menu\/","title":{"rendered":"Tourism Film Festival sign-up to screen IGCAT&#8217;s Food Film Menu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The renowned <strong>ART&amp;TUR &#8211; International Tourism Film Festival<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/tourfilm-festival.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ART&amp;TUR<\/a>) and the brand-new <strong>EATSA\u00a0ART &amp; TOURISM\u00a0Film Festival<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/eatsa.tourfilm-festival.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EATSA \u2013 ATFF<\/a>) have enriched the network of international cinematographic events that support <a href=\"https:\/\/test-oldwebsite.igcat.org\/projects\/food-film-menu\/submissions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IGCAT\u2019s Food Film Menu<\/a> initiative.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of a collaboration agreement signed by <strong>IGCAT<\/strong> and <strong>Centro de Portugal Film Commission<\/strong>, these two important film venues will showcase the <strong>Food Film Menu 2021<\/strong> as part of their official programmes to promote food and cultural diversity from across the <a href=\"https:\/\/test-oldwebsite.igcat.org\/world-regions-of-gastronomy-platform\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European and World Regions of Gastronomy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Promoted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eatsa-researches.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EATSA &#8211; Euro-Asia Tourism Studies Association<\/a> and organised by <a href=\"https:\/\/cportugalfilmcommission.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centro de Portugal Film Commission<\/a>, <strong>EATSA \u2013 ATFF<\/strong> (25-27 September 2021, Leiria \u2013 Portugal) shares with IGCAT a strong commitment to <strong>sustainable tourism development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>EATSA \u2013 ATFF advocates the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.turismoreset.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manifesto for the regeneration of the tourism sector<\/a>, that fosters \u201csocially equitable, environmentally respectful and economically sustainable\u201d tourism models, and will highlight tourism films from all over the world \u201cwhose messages contribute to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Catalysing socio-economic development, considering not only economic aspects but also social, educational or cultural development indicators.<\/li>\n<li>Promoting gender equality and decent working conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Generating improvements in people\u2019s quality of life, based on respect and the conservation of environmental resources, reducing their contribution to climate change.<\/li>\n<li>Preserving and enhancing the cultural identity of each territory.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>EATSA-ATFF also complements the work of its older brother <strong>ART&amp;TUR Festival<\/strong> (26-29 October 2021, Aveiro &#8211; Portugal) that in 2021 will celebrate its 14<sup>th<\/sup> edition in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Since its establishment in 2008, the ART&amp;TUR Festival has acted as \u201ca centre of creativity and innovation in the field of the tourism promotion (essential reference for all operators and Tourism entities), as well as a forum for reflection on the new trends in tourism, facilitating dialogue among academic experts and representatives of the business sector.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A unique event both in the Portuguese and international scene, the ART&amp;TUR Festival is also organised by the Centro de Portugal Film Commission with the official support of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centerofportugal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tourism Authority of Centro de Portugal Region<\/a>, and is a member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cifft.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CIFFT<\/a>\u00a0(International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals).<\/p>\n<p><strong>About IGCAT\u2019s Food Film Menu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/test-oldwebsite.igcat.org\/projects\/food-film-menu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IGCAT\u2019s Food Film Menu<\/a> competition encourages high-quality audio-visual content highlighting regional food and cultural diversity.
