At the request of Germany, the negotiation of the proposed transatlantic partnership has been at the heart of discussions. The Minister stressed the need to adhere strictly to the negotiating mandate set last year by the Board, in particular the objectives of cultural diversity and audiovisual services . The Minister reminded that compliance with this mandate was a condition for the success of negotiations.
